EDUCATION

Secondary schools

Our secondary schools programme is designed to be flexible in order to meet different learning objectives. A visit to our unique exhibition can be tailored to fit particular subjects, with opportunities for students to take part in hands-on workshops that stimulate discussion and skills development.

Careers Days

We run careers days throughout the year, designed to highlight the wide range of employment opportunities in the built environment sector. These sessions also give students the chance to interact with professionals from the industry, such as architects, structural engineers and construction workers.

How Places Work

Throughout 2007, the "How Places Work" project will offer Key Stage 3 students the chance to visit contemporary landmark buildings with a professional "inspirer", finding out about their design and use. For more information, please go to the projects page.

Religion & Place

During 2007 the "Religion and Place in Tower Hamlets" creative project is giving students the chance to work with an artist to explore the contrasts between local religious buildings. Bow Boys School and Sir John Cass’s Foundation & Redcoat School are currently taking part in the project. For more information, please go to the projects page.
